Shaving Soap Recipes

Shaving Soap
by Cheryl
1lb. 4oz. Coconut Oil
1lb. 4 oz. Palm Oil
2lb. 8 oz. Olive Oil
4 drops of ROE (add to oils when melting)
1# 14 oz Distilled Water
11 oz. Lye
Directions:
At trace add: 3 Tbls. of Bentonite Clay and 4 Tbls. Powdered Goat's Milk. Scent is optional. I usually split the batch in half. I leave one unscented and scent the other half with Suz's Bay Rum and a tiny bit of Lime EO. Scent this lightly as it is used as a shaving soap. I pour each half into 3" PVC pipe. This one will gel being well insulated in the pipe. Once set, I cut the logs into 2" strips, they work perfectly for most styles of mugs.
